About Adult and Pediatric Dermatology
The name is the promise. Since Dr. Michael Paltiel founded this practice in 2008, one Forest Hills office has treated the whole family's skin: infants, children, teens, adults, and grandparents, for medical problems first and cosmetic goals when you want them.
What We Treat
On the medical side, we care for the full range of skin, hair, and nail conditions: acne in teens and adults, eczema and psoriasis flares, rashes, warts, molluscum, moles, hair loss, and hyperhidrosis. We perform skin cancer screenings with mole checks and biopsies, and when a cancer is confirmed we have extensive experience with surgical excision and reconstruction.
On the cosmetic side, the practice offers Botox and Dysport, dermal fillers, chemical peels, microneedling, PDO thread lifts, Kybella, skin lasers, skin tightening, and facials, plus CoolSculpting Elite and EmSculpt for body contouring. Every cosmetic plan starts with a free consultation, and the standing aim is a natural result: you should still look like you.
The Team Behind It
Dr. Paltiel is a board-certified dermatologist who earned his MD at Johns Hopkins, trained at the University of Maryland and Mount Sinai, and taught residents as clinical faculty at Stony Brook. He works alongside Zina Goldvekht, PA-C, part of this office since 2012, Aleksey Babakhanov, FNP, a board-certified nurse practitioner with a Level I trauma background, and Dr. John A. Perrotti, a board-certified plastic surgeon with more than 30 years of experience. Facials and esthetic treatments are with Irma Meni, a licensed cosmetologist with over 25 years in skincare.
