At Adult and Pediatric Dermatology, we believe every patient deserves dermatologic care that combines the highest level of medical science with personalized attention. Since 2008, our clinic has served families from across Queens, including Briarwood, Jamaica, and Kew Gardens, treating the full spectrum of skin, hair, and nail disorders.
Our medical dermatology services cover the conditions Briarwood families deal with most:
- We provide thorough diagnosis and ongoing management of acne for teenagers and adults. Dr. Paltiel develops individualized treatment plans that may include topical therapies, oral medications, or advanced options like chemical peels and laser treatments, depending on your acne severity and skin type. We also treat acne scarring to help restore smooth, even skin after breakouts have resolved.
- Our team manages chronic inflammatory conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, and rosacea, working with each patient to find therapies that control flare-ups and improve day-to-day comfort. We understand these conditions require ongoing care and take a long-term, patient-centered approach.
- Skin cancer screening is a critical part of preventive care, and Dr. Paltiel performs comprehensive full-body examinations to detect suspicious lesions early. He has extensive experience with surgical excisions and Mohs micrographic surgery, a precise technique that removes all cancerous cells while sparing the maximum amount of healthy tissue.
- True to our name, we treat patients of all ages. Our pediatric dermatology services provide gentle, reassuring care for children dealing with eczema, birthmarks, molluscum, warts, and other common childhood skin conditions. Families in Briarwood can bring the whole household to a single practice.
