Preparing for Treatment

Q:

how should i prepare for my coolsculpting appointment?

A:

Avoid taking NSAIDs or anti-inflammatory medications such as ibuprofen before your appointment, as these can increase bruising. Come in comfortable clothing, you’ll be relaxing during the treatment.

Q:

which brand do you use for botox treatments at your clinic?

A:

The neurotoxin brands we use most often are Botox and Dysport. Both are excellent products with long safety records.

The Treatment Experience

Q:

what does the treatment feel like and is there any downtime?

A:

Initially, you’ll feel some cold followed by mild pins-and-needles sensation. About 5 minutes into the treatment, the area typically goes numb altogether and is very comfortable. After the procedure, our technician will administer a massage on the area. The massage may feel uncomfortable due to the body reheating, but the discomfort lasts only a few minutes.

Q:

what device is used for coolsculpting treatments?

A:

We use CoolSculpting Elite, the latest generation of the technology. It features dual applicators, meaning we can treat two areas simultaneously for more efficient sessions.

Results & Maintenance

Q:

when will i see results and how many sessions are typically needed?

A:

Results are typically visible within 3 to 12 weeks as your body naturally eliminates the treated fat cells. The number of sessions needed varies between patients depending on the area and your goals.

Q:

what happens if i gain weight after coolsculpting will the fat return?

A:

The fat cells we eliminate are gone permanently and will not return. However, if you gain a significant amount of weight, the remaining fat cells can enlarge and the area may appear larger again. Maintaining your weight is ideal for preserving results.

Cost & Payment

Q:

do you offer payment plans or insurance for coolsculpting treatments?

A:

Yes, we offer financing options for CoolSculpting. Since it’s a cosmetic procedure, insurance doesn’t cover it, but we work with patients to make treatment affordable.
